Over the last decade, I have become increasingly worried about the direction our country is taking. As I talk with my friends, I can see their frustration is also growing. It's time to change the debate. It's time to educate Americans in regards to what is happening to this great country of ours. It's time to put some real answers on the table and start the debate. is my attempt to inject real solutions into the debate, and into the minds of my fellow Americans. It's easy to complain, but I want to offer solutions for America.

I realize some of the solutions I am proposing will require a majority of Congress to implement. They may also require Congress to give up some of the power they have taken, and return it to the States and to the people.

And, when I see our leaders straying from the Constitution, I will also use as a vehicle to remind them of their responsibilities, and their oath to the people of the United States.

Why Benghazi, Libya Matters

Soldier saluting the US FlagLibya looms like a black cloud over Obama’s presidency. It simultaneously exposes his naïveté and inexperience in handling foreign policy, and his blatant disregard of the responsibilities of his office. What happened in Libya was the culmination of his failure to attend the Presidential security briefings, his focus on his reelection campaign at the expense of fulfilling the duties of the office of the President of the United States, and an administration that was unprepared or unwilling to take the steps necessary to protect American lives.  Read More

Business PeopleRight now our economy is facing a jobs crisis. With 23 million unemployed and the percentage of our employed population near a 30-year low, President Obama has not been able to come up with a solution. To be honest, this was to be expected. We hired a President who has no business experience. Then, the President surrounded myself with like-minded individuals who also had no business experience. So, we have a President who doesn't understand business with no one to turn to for advice. Now, four years later, we do not have more jobs.  Read More

How to Eliminate Personal Income Tax

taxesCall me skeptical, but for years our tax system has been used as a weapon against American citizens. It has been used to control behavior, penalize success, and reward political correctness. Now, with the latest ruling from the Supreme Court, Congress has been granted free rein to use the tax system against citizens. Is there anyone naive enough to believe that Congress will not hesitate to use this newly enhanced power against us?   Read More

You're Wrong Mr. President, We Did Build That

1930's Coupe“There are a lot of wealthy, successful Americans who agree with me—because they want to give something back. They know they didn’t—look, if you’ve been successful, you didn’t get there on your own. You didn’t get there on your own. I’m always struck by people who think, well, it must be because I was just so smart. There are a lot of smart people out there. It must be because I worked harder than everybody else. Let me tell you something—there are a whole bunch of hardworking people out there.”  Read More

Designed to fail. The Federal Election Commission leads from behind in enforcement.

U.S. CongressCongress founded the Federal Election Commission (FEC) in 1975. It is supposed to oversee the public funding of Presidential elections, but it is also responsible to enforce the provisions of the Federal Election Campaign Act such as the limits and prohibitions of contributions. Like many things Congress does, the Federal Election Commission cannot accomplish what it is supposed to because it was designed to fail.  Read More
